I want to inspire people to connect with the outdoors.
I believe people who hunt, fish and frequent wild spaces are more motivated to want to protect them. It is my hope that by sharing my outdoor adventures and the lessons that I learn, that it might motivate people to get out and connect with nature.
Throughout history, communities of passionate and like minded outdoorsmen/women have been a driving force for keeping wild spaces wild.
My ambition is to grow Yukon Unguided into a positive outdoor brand that helps instills these values, contributes to building a strong community of outdoor enthusiasts, and puts its money where its mouth is.
MERCH FUNDRAISER/FILM NIGHTS
With the merch fundraiser and annual fundraiser film nights hosted here in Whitehorse, YT, I aim aiming to raise money for conservation initiatives here in the Territory; one of the few places left on earth with a surplus of untouched wilderness.
My goal is to build more reach and gain resources so I can spend more time doing what I love, host more community events, create outdoor films, and find other ways to raise more money for conservation. The fundraiser is my way of giving back to the wild places and wild animals that continue to inspire me.
Since 2024 we’ve raised $4500.00 for conservation initiatives in the Yukon. It’s not much…but it’s a start.
